Mrs. Edobong Enobong Akpabio / Agro-entrepreneur /Business Consultant

Edobong Akpabio (nèè Edobong Imeh Etuk) is an agro-entrepreneur by vocation and a business consultant by profession. She has developed the knowledge, interest and passion, over the past 28 years, in human resources management, business consulting, entrepreneurship and the zeal to help entrepreneurs grow their business successfully. She is an ILO-SIYB trained Trainer, a career, youth and marriage counselor, a gender advocate, an appointed YouWin mentor, a Cherie Blair Foundation Mentor and an ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certified Lead Auditor.

Born on the 25th of January, 1967, Edobong Akpabio has a degree in English Studies from the University of Uyo (1988); PGD in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the University of Ife (2005); PGD in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College, Israel Assembly Campus, Alausa (2008); and she is a Fate Foundation alumnus (AEP 21 Set, 2006 on Citigroup scholarship).

Her career has traversed many sectors of the Nigerian economy from manufacturing in Ideal Flour Mills Ltd, Kaduna (1989) as a Management Trainee and later Administrative Manager (1991); C&C Construction Company Ltd, Lagos (1991-1993) as Admin./Personnel Manager; FSB International Bank Plc (1993-1995) as Head of Personnel; (1995-1996) as Head of Training; (1996-1997) as Deputy Head, Operations, Ikeja Branch; National Sports Lottery (2000-2002) as Manager, HR & Administration; Compagnie Generale de Logistique (2002-2004) as HR Manager; (2004-2007) as Group Head, Corporate Services; to Eagle8 Consulting (2007-2012) as Consultant, Business/Entrepreneurial Development.

She is a member of the following bodies;

  • Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (AIPM)
  • Member, International Christian Chamber of Commerce
  • Member, Organic Farmers Association of Nigeria

Edobong Akpabio also writes a blog for Christian teenagers (Great Teens Plus) and has participated in personal and professional training and personal development programmes (locally and abroad) and facilitated in women, teens and youth empowerment programmes as a trainer and life coach.

She is also a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Hebron’s Court, Ogba-Ijaiye (Ressurection Power Centre Area, Omole Zone), Lagos and married to Eno Akpabio with wonderful children.
